IMPOSITIONS - photographical sculptures - different formats - UV print on aluminium - UV print on foil. For the past year I was working with Susa Templin on her “IMPOSITIONS”. After a long material research and printing studies, we managed to tame the aluminum and foil. With the right amount of pressure and endurance, the aluminum plates find their floating shape and serve as a substructure for the printed foils.
Five Impositions are currently displayed at the Historisches Museum in Frankfurt am Main as part of the collective exhibition “Stadt der Fotografinnen”. Two Impositions have traveled to PHOTO BASEL with Gallery Anita Beckers.
IMPOSITIONS – fotografische Skulpturen – verschiedene Formate – UV-Druck auf Aluminium – UV-Druck auf Folie Im vergangenen Jahr habe ich mit Susa Templin an ihren „IMPOSITIONS“ gearbeitet. Nach langer Materialforschung und Druckstudien ist es uns gelungen, Aluminium und Folie zu bändigen. Mit dem richtigen Maß an Druck und Ausdauer finden die Aluminiumplatten ihre schwebende Form und dienen als Unterkonstruktion für die bedruckten Folien.
Fünf Impositions sind derzeit im Rahmen der Gruppenausstellung „Stadt der Fotografinnen“ im Historischen Museum in Frankfurt am Main zu sehen. Zwei Impositions sind mit der Galerie Anita Beckers zur PHOTO BASEL gereist..
